The adoption of such a suppressive law is another indication of public disenchantment with the regime and increasing support for the Resistance inside Iran which the regime is incapable of confronting. The network of Resistance sympathizers across the country have in the past dealt heavy blows to the regime, by passing news of political and social developments to the Resistance.
Such law also prepares the grounds for extensive suppression and execution of political prisoners. Last October, the mullahs' regime adopted an unprecedented law according to which the members of any anti-government organization which has more than two members can be condemned to ten years in prison.
Engulfed in numerous economic and political crises, the religious, terrorist dictatorship ruling Iran has found the only solution in stepping up suppression and reinforcing export of terrorism. In recent days, the regime's head of the judiciary and the speaker of the mullahs' parliament reiterated the need to murder Salman Rushdie. The Majlis speaker explicitly announced that the regime cannot retreat even one step back from hostility to the Middle East peace process.
Reports from inside Iran indicate that the regime has resumed political executions in recent months and weeks. The Iranian Resistance draws the attention of the United Nations and human rights bodies to the flagrant violations of human rights in Iran and demands the expulsion of this illegitimate regime from the international community.
