Iranian Resistance strongly condemns pro-government club wielders' attack on defenseless civilians

The National Council of Resistance of Iran strongly condemns the attack by the regime's agents and Guards Corps on two movie theaters in Tehran where they beat up the audience and staff, and pushed a pregnant woman off the balcony. The Iranian Resistance draws the attention of the international community to the flagrant violations of the rudimentary human rights by the religious, terrorist dictatorship ruling Iran and calls for the expulsion of this anti-human regime from the family of nations.

Saturday and Sunday, a group called the Hezbollah which is a branch of the regime's Revolutionary Guards Corps, attacked the Astara and Qods movie theaters in Tehran, shattered the windows and beat up the audience and staff. They even pushed a pregnant woman off the balcony and threw her into the street, badly wounding her.

The group of assailants were openly supported by the security forces and despite of whose presence they did nothing to prevent such brutalities.

Mullah Ahmad Jannati, secretary of the regime's Council of Guardians and the Friday prayer leader of Qom, had already sanctioned club wielder and Hezbollah gangs to take the reins in their hands and confront bad-veiling on the spot.

The regime's Guards attacked the birthday party of a 23-year-old man in Tehran, last month, and killed him by pushing him off the 18th floor.

The propagation of such arbitrary measures by the regime's criminal rulers, is another indication of the escalation of public disenchantment, social protests and unrest, which the regime is incapable of confronting.
