In line with its policy of taking advantage of the name of religion to expand the extent of repression in the society, Iran's ruling mullah regime announced some time ago that it had banned music and dancing celebration in wedding ceremonies. But the people of Iran who are convinced that such laws do not have anything to do with Islam and religion have continued to disobey these decrees. Likewise, after 15 years that a compulsory dress-code- the chador- has been imposed on the Iranian women, they persist on their right to freedom of choice in this regard and continue to resist the regime's repression.
According to the information received, the bride was sentenced to 85 lashes of the whip and the groom's sister to 75 lashes. But the bride groom was only fined.
