Two dissident Iranian Kurds assassinated, several innocent Sulaymania residents killed or wounded

The terrorists of the mullahs' inhuman regime murdered yesterday two members of the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran, Qaleb Alizadeh and Anjad Mowlaii, in the center of the city of Sulaymania, Iraqi Kurdistan.

An elderly resident of Sulaymania was also killed in this assault and four other residents were wounded.

This terrorist action in the second week of Khatami's presidency shows that no meaningful reform of this medieval regime is possible and that Iran's ruling theocracy cannot survive even one day without repression and export of terrorism.

The National Council of Resistance of Iran once again draws the attention of international human rights organizations to this recent terrorist crime in Iraqi Kurdistan and demands its condemnation.

The time has come for the United Nations and the UN Security Council to end its silence and inaction towards the increasing interventions of the mullahs' religious, terrorist dictatorship in the Iraqi Kurdistan and adopt binding decisions to confront the mullahs' unbridled terrorism and aggression.
