Iranian Resistance condemns Shell's contract with mullahs' regime

The British-Dutch group, Shell, has decided to take part in a major gas project of the clerical regime, news reports say. The initial cost of the project is estimated to be 2.5 billion dollars.

The National Council of Resistance strongly condemns such contracts and economic deals with the illegitimate theocracy ruling Iran as they run counter to the highest interests of the Iranian people.

The Iranian Resistance calls on British and Dutch governments to oppose such trades with the clerical regime because they mark a dark chapter in the history of their relations with the people of Iran. Doubtless, such deals will only embolden the murderous mullahs to continue their human rights abuses and export of terrorism.

Such contracts with the mullahs' religious, terrorist dictatorship will bring nothing but harm as this regime is beset with its biggest political crisis since Khomeini died. Just last week, in a resolution which was the 42nd United Nations censure of the mullahs, the Commission on Human Rights condemned persistent and flagrant violations of human rights in Iran.
