Young residents of Ilam Province clash with Intelligence Ministry and Revolutionary Guards patrol units

The Mojahedin Command inside Iran reported that there have been several clashes in recent days between young people and patrol units of the Revolutionary Guards and the Intelligence Ministry.

In the wake of large-scale operations codenamed "Sohrab" and Mojahedin operational units' attacks with 82-mm mortars on the headquarters of the Intelligence Directorate, the Revolutionary Guards and the paramilitary Bassij in the city of Ilam, the mullahs' regime has sharply stepped up the presence of its suppressive forces in Ilam, with numerous Guards and intelligence units patrolling the different districts and streets of Ilam to reassert their control.

Several clashes have been reported on Wednesday and Thursday between young Ilamis supporting the Mojahedin and enemy patrol units, especially those of the Intelligence Directorate. Armed Ilamis have fired on Guards and intelligence forces' patrols on at least three separate occasions during that time.
