After Mojahedin's extensive operations in Ilam in recent weeks, Khamenei to meet Ilam's suppressive forces to raise sagging morale

In the wake of Mojahedin's major military operations in different cities of Ilam Province in recent weeks and extensive clashes between the Mojahedin and the mullahs' suppressive forces in Ilam on January 11 and 12, which inflicted heavy casualties on the regime's forces, the clerical dictatorship's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei summoned mullah Yassoubi, the Friday prayers leader of Ilam, to Tehran and instructed him to meet with the Revolutionary Guards, repressive forces and their families in Chalsara, the site of some of the major confrontations, to boost their sagging morale.

Prior to this visit, Yassoubi had gone to see Khamenei to report on the chaotic state of the regime's suppressive forces after the series of recent operations by the Mojahedin in the Province.

The mullahs' forces are so demoralized and so fearful of Mojahedin operations that according to the state-run radio, Yassoubi promised that they would soon be sent to Tehran to see Khamenei.

In recent weeks, the General Directorate of Intelligence, the command HQ of the Revolutionary Guards, the Bassij HQ of Ilam Province, several battalions of the 23rd Nohed (Special Forces) Division in Dehloran and Moussian, and several centers of the 16th Armored Division in Salehabad and Sarnay have been pounded by the Mojahedin's operational units with the heavy barrages of 120-mm and 82-mm mortars.

Scores of suppressive forces of the regime were killed or wounded in the two-day clashes north of Salehabad. The Ministry of Intelligence announced on January 12 that in these clashes, five agencies of repression - the Revolutionary Guards, the State Security Forces, the Bassij, the Ministry of Intelligence operatives and the mullahs' Army - took part.
