Mullahs' regime acknowledges Mojahedin's operations in western Iran

In its 3:30 p.m. news bulletin, the Kurdish service of the Iranian state radio acknowledged the extensive operations by the Mojahedin this morning. It reported: "Unable to confront the military and State Security Forces, the Mojahedin attacked several cities in Ilam Province in western Iran with light and heavy weaponry this morning."

This morning 70 operational units of the Mojahedin pounded 18 suppressive and military centers of the regime in Kermanshah, Ilam and Khuzistan provinces. In these operations, large numbers of enemy forces were killed or wounded. Three Mojahedin fighters were also wounded.

In a bid to cover up the extent of the blows it has received, the regime claimed that "three innocent people were killed or wounded."

In the operations this morning, however, no civilians were targeted and no civilian center was hit or damaged.

In their official and confidential reports to Tehran, local authorities emphasized that the Mojahedin had attacked the State Security Forces and the army's garrisons and that there had been no civilian casualties.
