Operation Kermanshah - Statement No. 2
- Mullahs mobilize military forces and SSF following mortar attack on Guards Corps Command HQ in western Iran

Following the mortar attack on Najaf Garrison, the Revolutionary Guards Corps Command headquarters in Kermanshah (western Iran), the clerical regime has prohibited the Revolutionary Guardsmen from leaving the garrison in a bid to prevent the spread of any news about the details of the blows it has suffered.

After the operation, in which a number of Revolutionary Guards commanders and members were killed or wounded, the Guards Corps, the State Security Forces and the Intelligence Ministry agents began extensive searches in different regions of Kermanshah, other cities in the province and roads and highways in the region. Since this morning, the regime has deployed helicopters in the region.

After an 18-hour silence, the state radio in Kermanshah and the Jam-e Jam television network confirmed the news of the mortar attack.
