Mullahs' ploy to cover up deaths of hundreds of guards and agents of Intelligence Ministry in clashes with Mojahedin

The mullahs' Ministry of Intelligence issued a false report last night, claiming that on Friday, January 17, a renowned member of the Mojahedin, Mr. Abbas Delnavaz, had been killed during a quarrel with his comrade while crossing the border from Iraq to I ran. The murderer, it was claimed, turned himself in to the regime's officials.

Abbas Delnavaz was killed three weeks ago on December 27 in an extensive clash in Gilan-e Gharb with Intelligence Ministry agents and Guards, on the eve of Rafsanjani's trip to western Iran.

The extent of the activities of the Mojahedin and the Resistance forces all across the western provinces has badly terrified the regime. The mullahs had the photograph of the corpse of Abbas Delnavaz published in all their newspapers and asked the Hezboll ahi people to inform the regime if they identified the man.

Earlier on January 6, the regime's radio and television announced that "on Saturday night (Jan. 4), two members of the Mojahedin were killed in a clash with the Iranian forces in Balkaneh, on the border." It is not clear which of the three contradictory v ersions is true?

The Mojahedin's Command Headquarters inside Iran announced in its statement on January 6 that a number of the Mojahedin a

The mullahs' contradictory statements and desperate efforts but indicate their fear and frustration. In this way they try to cover up the Mojahedin's extensive clashes with the regime's suppressive forces. In the past three weeks, hundreds of guards and a gents of the Intelligence Ministry were killed or wounded in clashes with the Mojahedin.

The false and ridiculous claim that Abbas Delnavaz was killed by his team member while entering Iran from Iraq does not deceive anyone. Nevertheless it is predictable that similar to the murders of the Christian priests, the regime would bring one or more persons to the stage to lie against the Mojahedin.
