Mojahedin write to Council of Europe

The People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran wrote a letter to the President of the Council of Europe categorically denying any ties with an Iranian refugee, who is subject to deportation from Great Britain on the charge of drug trafficking.

The People's Mojahedin reiterate that the attribution of this individual to the Mojahedin only provides an opportunity for the criminal mullahs ruling Iran to launch a political and publicity campaign against the Iranian Resistance and justify their suppression and execution of dissidents. For years, the mullahs' religious, terrorist dictatorship has executed group after group of political prisoners as well as members and sympathizers of the Resistance under the bogus pretext of drug trafficking.

In recent years, many people have falsely attributed themselves to our organization to receive refugee status. The Khomeini regime has also tried to take advantage of the name of the Mojahedin and obtain refugee status for its Intelligence Ministry agents and deploy them in terrorist and spying activities against the activists of the Resistance.
