Organization for national and Islamic struggle of Iranian Kurdistan (Khebat) declared alliance with Iranian Resistance

Mr. Seyed Jalal Hosseini, the prominent religious leader of Iranian Kurdistan and General Secretary of the Organization for national and Islamic struggle of Iranian Kurdistan (Khebat), met with Mr. Massoud Rajavi, President of the National Council of Resistance, and declared the determination of his organization to have lasting alliance with the National Council of Resistance and the People's Mojahedin of Iran. Mr. Hosseini said: The Kurds of Iran, who have arisen face to face against the anti-Islamic and anti-human regime of the mullahs, see it a national duty to support the NCR and Mojahedin, particularly that the NCR has in its plan for the autonomy of Iranian Kurdistan completely recognized their rights in 12 articles and made the future government committed to it as well.

Mr. Hosseini announced that the unity of all the forces who seek democracy and justice under the umbrella of the National Council of Resistance and in unity with the National Liberation Army is a necessity for the overthrow of the Khomeini regime.

Mr. Massoud Rajavi admired the steadfastness of the Khebat organization against the mullahs who are the enemy of all the people of Iran and wished success for all the peshmargas and officials of this organization. He added: The main deficiency in the resistance of the peshmargas and people of Iranian Kurdistan has always been the absence of ties with the nationwide Resistance. For the first time in the history of Iran, the NCR, as a credible political alternative, recognized the right to autonomy of the people of Iranian Kurdistan and made detailed and explicit announcement about these rights in its official plan.

Mr. Hosseini emphasized adherence to the National Council of Resistance on the basis of the following principles:
1. Armed struggle for the overthrow of the mullahs, as the main enemy of the Iranian people, especially the people of Iranian Kurdistan.
2. Rejection of both the monarchic and the clerical dictatorships and rejection of all forms of negotiations and compromise with the mullahs' rule by any individual or political group.
3. The necessity of lending support by all the nationalist and combatant organizations in the Iranian Kurdistan to the National Council of Resistance, which is represented by its President-elect, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, who is the standard bearer of solidarity and unity among the majority of Iranians in Iran and abroad.
4. Commitment to the genuine rights of autonomy of the Iranian Kurdistan based on the plan ratified by the National Council of Resistance of Iran.
