Mullahs in delirium

A Mojahedin press spokesman described as sheer lies yesterday's remarks by "the Ilam province's Director General for intelligence" that "17 members of the Mojahedin had been killed at the border strip in the province."

He said: These preposterous prevarications are part and parcel of the mullahs' deafening propaganda against the Mojahedin and the Iranian Resistance in the past two months, especially following the visit by Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the Resistance's President-elect, with the combatants of the National Liberation Army, and the escalation of the activities by the Mojahedin units and the Resistance's supporters inside Iran.

The Mojahedin press spokesman added: By disseminating such lies, the regime aims to boost the morale of its demoralized forces, hundreds of whom were killed or wounded in several weeks of clashes with the Mojahedin inside the country.

The spokesman denied that units of the Mojahedin had entered their homeland from Iraq. He stressed that by fabricating these reports, the mullahs were also trying to set the stage for further terrorist and military assaults against the Resistance's activists and bases in Iraqi territory.
