False claims by Farassati

A press spokesman for the People's Mojahedin said the false claims by Ali Farassati, an agent of the Khomeini regime's Ministry of Intelligence, who introduces himself as a former official of the Mojahedin, indicate the frustration of the mullahs' illegitimate dictatorship in confronting the growing popular support for the Mojahedin and the Iranian Resistance.

The above said individual has never been a member of the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran. This reality has been explicitly acknowledged by Farassati, himself, in his writings in previous years. He used to be in the National Liberation Army camps for some time, but after the outbreak of the Persian Gulf War and the intolerable conditions at the time, he and his wife left Iraq for Europe.

In the following years, Farassati began his work in defense of the mullahs' religious, terrorist dictatorship and tried to cooperate with the regime in advocating Iranian refugees' return to Iran. He was completely ignored and boycotted by Iranians. The Ministry of Intelligence was finally forced to take its agent back to Iran by staging a ridiculous show under the pretext of his running for president.
