Resistance forces successfully campaigned in 238 cities across Iran

The Iranian Resistance forces carried out their social activities and publicity work in 238 cities across the country in a month-long campaign from September 23 to October 22, celebrating the beginning of the new academic year, the Mojahedin Command Headquarters inside Iran announced in its statement.

The activities by the Resistance forces included fomenting demonstrations and social strikes, writing slogans on walls, and distributing messages of the Resistance's leadership, directives of the Mojahedin Command HQ to different social sectors, and publicity brochures and flyers.

Tehran, Mashhad, Isfahan, Shiraz, Tabriz, Oroumieh, Kermanshah, Abadan, Ahwaz, Rasht, Kerman, Zahedan, Qazvin, Hamedan, Ardebil, Ilam, Piranshahr, Meshkinshahr, Boushehr, Qoutchan, Zanjan, Jahrom, Karaj, Khorramabad, Boroujerd, Bojnourd, Qa'emshahr, Sari, Miyaneh, Andimeshk, Qom, Bandar Abbas, Zabol, Bam and Jiroft were among the cities covered in this campaign.

Simultaneous with these activities, Iranian youths continue to join the National Liberation Army of Iran. The Mojahedin Command Headquarters also announced on November 3, that its forces had carried out 352 operations across the country from September 23 to November 3.

The Iranian Resistance forces, particularly college and high school students, played a significantly active role in inciting student protests and strikes in different cities. The Command HQ listed 21 major acts of protest which included among others the student protests in the School of Medical Sciences in Isfahan, the Azad University of Hamedan, the University of Oroumieh, Tehran's Amir Kabir University, the University of Kashan, as well as the workers' strike at Isfahan's Concrete Foundation, the white-collar workers' protest at East Alborz Mining Company in Shahrood, and the workers' strike in the industrial township of Bou-Ali in Hamedan.

The State Security Forces and Guards Corps staged numerous maneuvers to confront the escalation of these acts of social protest. The regime set up more checkpoints in the cities and reinforced their troops both in the cities and at the city entrances to exert maximum control on the public.
