Son of ex-Revolutionary Guards Corps Commandant General exposes mullahs' crimes, corruption

A Mojahedin press spokesman described comments by Ahmad Reza'i -- eldest son of Mohsen Reza'i, ex-commandant general of the Revolutionary Guards Corps and the current Secretary of the Council for the Discernment of State Exigencies -- who recently sought asylum in the United States, as another clear testament to continuing export of terrorism and fundamentalism by the religious, terrorist dictatorship ruling Iran and the allotment of exorbitant funds for such activities.

In an interview with the Voice of America on July 3, Reza'i acknowledged that besides "plundering the entire wealth of the Iranian people" and justifying their crimes under the banner of Islam, Iran's ruling mullahs allocate a huge budget to "terrorist activities around the globe" in Lebanon, Palestine, Egypt, Algeria, Afghanistan and other countries.

Reza'i stressed that the clerical regime provides the budget and weaponry for many terrorist groups in the Middle East and that the ruling mullahs mastermind and direct many terrorist activities in these countries.

The Mojahedin press spokesman added that Reza'i's exposure of a glimpse of the crimes and corruption within the regime reflects the vast dimensions of the ruling mullahs' plunder of the Iranian people's wealth.

He noted: The fact that the son of the ex-commandant general of the Guards Corps who in the last 19 years has been one of the top officials responsible for the mass killings, warmongering and export of terrorism beyond Iran's borders, has sought asylum is one more indication that the ruling theocracy is faltering and devoid of any future. It is also reminiscent of the last phase of the shah's regime.
