Intelligence Ministry's claims about Forouhar's murder denied
-Mojahedin call for dispatch of fact-finding mission to Tehran

A Mojahedin spokesman denied Tehran Time's preposterous claim about the Mojahedin's role in the murder of Darioush Forouhar and his wife.

He added: "This false claim is a transparent ploy by the mullahs' Intelligence Ministry to forestall international condemnation of the clerical regime."

The spokesman said: "This is not the first time that the clerical regime attributes its horrific and anti-human crimes -- such as the murder of Christian leaders in Iran and assassination of representatives of the Iranian Resistance abroad -- to the Mojahedin and the Iranian Resistance."

The Mojahedin spokesman stressed: "Any expectation that the theocratic regime ruling Iran -- itself the mastermind and perpetrator of this heinous crime -- would investigate Forouhar's murder is absolutely fuitle." He called for the dispatch of an international fact-finding mission to Tehran to investigate this murder and identify the perpetrators of this crime.
