Mojahedin deny claims by mullahs' Intelligence Minister, call for international investigation of Forouhar's murder

A Mojahedin spokesman described absurd remarks by the clerical regime's Intelligence Minister about the involvement of the Mojahedin in the murder of Darioush Forouhar and his wife as a desperate attempt by the ruling medieval dictatorship to cover up its responsibility in this heinous crime and evade its domestic repercussions and international condemnation.

Several days after Forouhar's death, no-one in Iran or abroad has any doubt that these murders were planned and carried out by the mullahs and their Intelligence Ministry.

The clerical regime had previously blamed similar crimes, including the barbaric murder of Christian leaders and the assassination of dissidents and representatives of the Iranian Resistance in European countries on the Mojahedin and the Iranian Resistance. The Judiciary of these countries, however, have held the highest leaders of the regime accountable for these murders.

The People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran again call for the dispatch of an international fact-finding mission to Tehran to investigate and identify the masterminds and perpetrators of these murders.
