1. Demonstrators angered by the clerical regime's repressive forces' firing on the crowds attacked Baharestan police station during clashes with Revolutionary Guards.
2. Young demonstrators attacked the police station in central Tehran's Hafez Street (near the flyover) during a demonstration there.
3. People demonstrating in the south Tehran neighborhood of Khazaneh set fire to government offices in Khazaneh Terminal.
4. Throughout the afternoon there were intense clashes between demonstrators and State Security Forces at Mossaddeq Intersection, Vali-Asr Square, Ferdowsi Avenue, Jomhuri Street (all in downtown Tehran). Demonstrators responded to the security forces' firing on the crowd and volleys of tear gas canisters by throwing petrol bombs.
5. More than 2,000 demonstrators chanted antigovernment slogans in south Tehran's Galubandak Junction and Sabzeh Meidan, while simultaneous protests continued in Nasser-Khosro Street, Tupkhaneh Square and Istanbul Intersection in the city center.
6. In east Tehran's Narmak neighborhood and in 7 Tir Square demonstrators continued to fight the Revolutionary Guards after darkness.
7. At 11 pm more than 8,00 demonstrators gathered in the southern neighborhood of Naziabad and chanted slogans against the ruling mullahs before clashing with the paramilitary Bassij.
8. At about 11 pm demonstrators in Youssefabad neighborhood clashed with the State Security Forces, which lasted for an hour and a half.
9. Clashes and confrontations in the streets around Tehran University and in different parts of the capital continued until midnight. The regime's repressive forces resorted to helicopters to fight the demonstrators and even opened fire on the crowds from above.
Angry demonstrators responded by setting fire to government installations and vehicles and by throwing stones and petrol bombs at the repressive forces who attacked them. The Revolutionary Guards brought APCs to some districts and in several areas such as Khaniabad T-Junction near Khazaneh tanks were stationed.
10. As demonstrations continued in Tehran, people in Baghestan and Shahin-Villa areas of the city of Karaj (40 km west of Tehran) began to demonstrate against the regime and chant slogans against clerical leaders at 11 pm. There were extensive clashes with the security forces in Rajaishahr, a suburb of Karaj.
11. More than 30 demonstrators were slain in clashes between the repressive forces and the people in Tehran from Tuesday afternoon through midnight. Hundreds were injured and thousands were savagely beaten up by the regime's forces.
12. Last night in different parts of the capital, the security forces read out over loudspeakers Communique No. 4 of the Supreme National Security Council chaired by Khatami while people were still demonstrating. After the announcement that "the security forces have been instructed to put down disturbances with complete severity," the people in many areas began chanting "Down with Khatami the traitor."
