Mullahs' Latest Terrorist Crime: Car bomb on public highway near NLA's Camp Faezeh

At 3.15 pm on Saturday, November 13, terrorists dispatched by the mullahs' regime committed another terrorist crime by blowing up a car bomb on the Baghdad-Kut highway as cars belonging to the Mojahedin were passing by on their way to Camp Faezeh, situated south of Kut.

The blast of the car bomb, a pick-up truck laden with explosives, inflicted heavy damages on a Mojahedin car and several other vehicles belonging to Iraqi citizens traveling on the same highway. Several Iraqi citizens were injured.

The explosive-laden car was abandoned on the side of the route taken by the Mojahedin and the explosion was set off by remote control.

This is the eighty-first terrorist attack by the religious dictatorship ruling Iran on the Mojahedin on Iraqi territories since 1993. Of these criminal assaults, 30 have been carried out during Khatami's tenure as president.

Underscoring the Resistance's unalienable right to respond to such barbarous, inhuman crimes, the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran once again urges the United Nations Secretary General, the Security Council and the current session of the General Assembly and all international human rights organizations and advocates to condemn the clerical regime's terrorist crimes and take urgent measures against the religious, terrorist dictatorship ruling Iran.

The People's Mojahedin Organization also urges the Iraqi government to prosecute and bring to justice the terrorists and close down the clerical regime's nest of espionage and terrorism in Baghdad.
